Building Strong Wrestling Foundations in a Fun Environment
At Cherry Creek Wrestling club, we support wrestlers of all ages and sizes. Our coaches are able to work with boys and girls at any level to improve their wrestling abilities.
Our coaches have developed a wrestling playbook to build strong foundations to be competitive against the top clubs in the state.
Our local high school has had a state placer every year for the last 20 years, and we've had multiple wrestlers continue on at the college level.
Come try out a practice and see if your kids will like it! We know that wrestling will work for any kid at any level, and we will make sure they have a great time while at practice.

We are creating a balance between supporting the community with a wrestling club while also creating an environment of wrestlers that enjoy being in the room and push each other to be better on and off the mat. We do have a limited amount of scholarships available and if this is an option you need, then reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Yes! The USA wrestling card provides protection for the kids and the coaches. It also gives you access to USA Wrestling hosted tournaments if you want to wrestle at tournaments. The wrestling card is an annual fee, which can be found here. (Make sure to renew after August 31st so you get a full year's worth of membership)
Here is the list of gear that we recommend for practices:
- Current USA Wrestling Card
- Wrestling Shoes
- Headgear (optional)
- Mouthguard (required for braces, otherwise optional)
- Kneepads (optional)
- Clean athletic clothes for practice, such a t-shirts, shorts, sweatpants, etc. Ideally clothes should not have pockets or zippers.
- Bring a water bottle
We are excited you want to get onto the mat with the kids! Just make sure to obtain a coaching card from USA Wrestling. This helps to create a safe environment for the kids and gives you valuable information on how to follow "safe sport" guidelines!
If you want to be in the coaches corner for tournaments, make sure to also go through the Copper and Bronze certifications through USA Wrestling. Most tournaments will not allow you onto the floor unless you finish these certifications. They are one-time certifications so once complete, you are good for life!
